Cafe hunting.

So... Another month has passed by just like that since my attachment started and yeah school. *cringe* I hate school with a dying passion ok. THIS IS REAL! 

Okay I must say I actually spent my holidays pretty well, and yes that include days rotting away at home and rolling in bed. Two weeks ago Yurong came back from Perth and I went to the airport just to pick her up and had dinner at Aston's. She's going back in like less than 2 days' time so that's pretty much a mood spoiler. :'( 

Last week, I kinda went into that cafe hunting mood. Okay not really but just that my friends and I decided to head out and that was when I decided we needed to go for some good food. That came with a price though. Gotta wake up so friggin' early just to head over for brunch but after my exhaustion wore off I just got this happy feeling that my morning was not wasted after all! Everything could be done without worrying about how late the time was. Oh and heading out on the weekdays is just a huge bonus to avoid crowds! How awesome can the day get right! Okay here goes! 

Selfish Gene Cafe

I LOVE this place. It is so my kind of thing. The interior, the ambience, and how hidden find it is just attracts me so much. And what's more their food and coffee are just as good! Thumbs up! 

Enjoyed my day shopping with the girls too! :)

Habitat Coffee

Habitat coffee's interior is really cute and cozy, it's like the perfect place for me to laze around with a good book and a cup of good coffee and just watch the day go by. The food was a teeny weeny bit pricier than selfish gene but their pancakes was really tasty so I won't complain :) 

Met Jocelyn and Yurong at the cafe for brunch and they had to leave after that so it was a pretty short day spent with them. We cam-whored a hell lot though! Haha. 

Penny University

This place. IS JUST AMAZING. This cafe just gives off this indie vibe and I like how it's a bit different from the other two cafes that I went. And most importantly, THEIR FOOD IS SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN THE OTHER TWO. All below $10 what the heck I was surprised! Their poached eggs are really delicious! I will definitely go back! 

And.. That was how I spent my Thursday!  Now I'm back in School, whining and ranting about how much I hate it ugh I just wanna stay home and do nothing ok.  I have like.. ZERO motivation for this term man. Blah.
